The Centre conducted load auditing project of specific facilities on the main campus, including student hostels, lecture halls, and walkways. This information guided the University administration on matters related to the University’s energy infrastructure

The Centre spearheads research initiatives in renewable energy at the University, having an impressive portfolio of approximately 30 publications and 10 ongoing projects. Our team won the TETFund Institution-Based Research (IBR) intervention allocation about N5 Million in 2025. Our objective is to translate these research findings into practical, operationally viable energy solutions for our campus and pursue patent opportunities.
